By turning just 20 years of age, Dmytro Makarov had already secured his place among the world’s most sought-after marketing minds.
By today, Makarov’s agency has collaborated with global giants including BMW, Durex, Intel, Hugo, NIVEA, and Domino’s. However, as Makarov admits, one principle stands above everything else: real marketers focus on results, not just traffic.
Dmytro Makarov’s approach was forged early on. Still a school student when he first ventured into the world of marketing, he offered his expertise as an independent consultant to brands and startups across borders. “That was the stage when I operated as an independent consultant – essentially a contractor,” he reflects. “I developed marketing strategies, ran ad campaigns on social media and search platforms, negotiated with influencers, and co-created campaigns with them.”
It was not long before he made the bold decision to leave school and establish his own agency, an enterprise that has grown to a team of more than 100 specialists. Central to the agency’s strategy has been its mastery of influencer campaigns, which Makarov argues offer an unrivalled capacity for cultural relevance and consumer trust.
The agency’s approach is simple but firm: performance matters. “In Ukraine, we built a reputation as an agency that delivers results – not just traffic,” Dmytro Makarov explains. “We have worked with over 1,000 influencers and know how to evaluate who will actually drive results. Frequently, we guarantee outcomes – refunding budgets or providing additional placements if KPIs aren’t achieved.”
This results-first approach has propelled the agency through considerable challenges. Both the COVID-19 pandemic and the war in Ukraine forced Makarov and his team to adapt rapidly. The company expanded its presence across North America, Europe, Asia, and the MENA region, supported by a multilingual team fluent in English, Arabic, Turkish, and French. This cultural fluency allows the agency to craft campaigns that resonate authentically in diverse markets.
Makarov credits his company’s global success to a clear framework and a disciplined mindset. His six-step process – identify the client’s need, analyse the market, craft the offer, define KPIs, test, and scale – emphasises methodical planning and continuous optimisation. But it is not only about strategy. It is about intent.
“It matters to me that what I do has purpose and impact – not just for business, but for the people around me,” Dmytro Makarov insists.
As the marketing world grows ever more data-driven and fragmented, Makarov’s emphasis on genuine connection and proven outcomes offers a refreshing alternative. In a field often distracted by surface-level metrics, his story serves as a compelling reminder: success in marketing does not hinge on how many people see your message – it hinges on what they do next.
And in that regard, Dmytro Makarov is setting the standard.
