AI Analytics Assistant

In October we shared a new addition to our AI Agents. This is our AI Analytics Assistant. This AI Analytics Assistant allows merchants to consult with AI assistants 24/7, receiving hyper-personalized insights and recommendations regarding their business reports. Through a conversational framework, merchants can ask questions and queries about their analytics reports, and the chat AI technology will respond back in natural language.

Questions merchants may want to ask could include:

  • “What was my conversion rate in May?”
  • “What are my top 5 search terms?”
  • “What are the best selling products?”
  • “Which traffic source is my best converting?”

As you can see, the potential use cases for this assistant are wide. The advanced conversational commerce technology ensures that figures are not only understood, but also translated into action points for your business.  Just some of the benefits of this technology are:

Merchandising Editor Updates

Our Merchandising Editor provides merchants with the ability to take their merchandising into their own hands. We understand that each brand will have varying merchandising needs, depending on their business strategy. Our goal is to give merchants the freedom and flexibility to tailor their solution to their requirements.

That’s why we were proud to introduce these latest updates to the editor. 

1. Analytics Insights Tabs

Adding these two new tabs allows merchants to create new merchandising rules based on the performance of individual products, as recognised by analytics.

  • Hidden Winners Tab
    Sometimes, high-performing products may be buried in larger catalogs. These “hidden winners” may have great conversion rates but limited visibility. Our ‘Hidden Winners’ tab brings these products to the forefront, helping to uncover untapped opportunities.
  • Over Exposed Tab
    Some products may receive disproportionate impressions compared to their conversion performance. The over exposed tab enables you to rebalance your merchandising strategy, giving other products a fair chance to shine.

2. New Product Indicators

In order to make these kinds of products noticeable, we have created badges which flag up different occurrences within pages. For example:

  •  Hidden Winner Badge – this marks the products with better conversion potential.
  •  Overexposed Badge – this flags products recieving excessive impressions.
  •  New Arrival Badge – this highlights products added within the last 7 days.

The Benefits

These updates bring actionable insights directly into merchants’ workflow. It can increase exposure to products that need it most and discover untapped potential in others. It also provides the opportunity for merchants’ to make fast, data-driven decisions with badges as visual indicators. This will overall save merchants time, and boost effectivity.

Merchandising Rules For Visual Discovery

Our final important update of the last quarter was the addition of Merchandising Rules within our Visual Discovery solution. Visual discovery uses the power of AI to identify key elements featured in a photo uploaded by a customer. From a person’s age and gender to product categories, brand, color, material, products within images can now be found and purchased. 

Fast Simon’s Visual Discovery means that customers can upload an image, then matches from your site will appear for them. With Merchandising Rules now integrated within this, merchants can decide which products they want to display first depending on their merchandising strategy.
