SMS/MMS: Self-Serve MMS Onboarding
Say hello to seamless MMS onboarding for those using our Bring-Your-Own-Vendor (BYOV) MMS services. With this update, simply add vendor information to integrate popular MMS providers like Sinch, Attentive, and Tall Bob, and start building MMS campaigns in minutes.
Mobile In-app: Inline Personalization
Personalization reaches new heights with our Mobile In-app updates. Personalization is now available for in-app inline messages, along with the previously supported overlay type messages. This update allows you to customize any in-app experiences using Contact Data and Voucher tokens and deliver a tailored app experience that responds dynamically to user behavior and preferences.
Conversational Channel: Support for New Media Types in WhatsApp (Early Adopter)
We’ve expanded media capabilities within WhatsApp to include video, document, and dynamic image support for template messages. Use various media formats like .docx, .pdf, .jpeg, .png, and .mp4 to elevate your messaging and increase customer engagement with marketing or transactional messages.
Conversational Channel: Streamlined Campaign-Level Reporting for WhatsApp (Early Adopter)
Understand your WhatsApp campaign performance faster with our new one-click Campaign Level Reporting feature. This update pre-filters Campaign Analytics for a chosen WhatsApp campaign, allowing you to instantly access insights and refine your strategy. Get deeper insights into your marketing efforts in this fast-growing engagement channel to further optimize results.

Deep insights into customer behavior and data are key for continually innovating in how you serve your customers in true omnichannel fashion. With this round of enhancements in the November 2024 release, we give you additional tools to identify trends, track metrics for conversational channels, and get precise reporting for mobile campaigns.
Email Category and Type Filtering in Campaign Analytics
Gain greater control in Campaign Analytics with new filtering options so you can optimize your email marketing with greater confidence. Sort emails by campaign category and type, making it easier to analyze specific campaign groups and identify trends. With more variables to compare and contrast across your email campaigns, you’ll gain increased visibility into what’s working — or what isn’t – to drive engagement and revenue.
Click Measurement for Conversational Channels (Early Adopter)
For early adopters of our Conversational Channel, we’re now offering Clicks and Click Rate metrics in Campaign Analytics and the Unified Dashboard for Conversational Channels, giving you more insight into engagement on these emerging channels.
Mobile Push Test Message Filtering
You asked, and we delivered! With this update, you can filter out test messages from actual send metrics for Mobile Push, ensuring precise reporting and a clearer view of campaign performance.
Multi-Currency Conversion Support for Sales Data (Pilot)
Our pilot for multi-currency conversion allows organizations operating across multiple regions to import all of their sales data in any currency into a single account and seamlessly transform it to a standard currency. Emarsys will automatically convert the revenue figures into your preferred account currency, based on historical market rate calculations, ensuring consistent and accurate reporting. Platform Extensibility and Composability
In our ongoing commitment to make our platform more adaptive to customers needs, we’ve delivered additional features which help marketers and IT integrate, extend, and scale our functionality across industries and use cases.
optilyz Integration: Direct Mail Tactics
Easily blend direct mail into your omnichannel marketing strategy with new built-in tactics from optilyz. Choose from pre-built automation templates that combine Email and Direct Mail for impactful, multi-channel campaigns like welcoming new customers or celebrating birthdays with a special card. Integrate letters, postcards and self-mailers into omnichannel marketing strategies using Emarsys data to automate and personalize these high-impact campaigns.
Real-time SAP CDP Connector for B2B Sync (Pilot)
We’re piloting an extension of our Real-time SAP CDP Connector with B2B Sync capabilities, making it easier to unify contact, account, and relationship data in real time. This feature is tailored for B2B marketers looking to improve data management and drive sales and account engagement based on key account and contact data.
mParticle Connector
Previously announced as a pilot, the mParticle Connector is now generally available and offers real-time data integration from mParticle into Emarsys, for mutual clients. Harness mParticle’s data and insights directly within Emarsys for segmentation, personalization and channel activation.
Open Data: Use Your Own Google Project
Open Data just got more flexible—Emarsys users can now use their own Google Cloud Platform projects to query Emarsys Data. This feature reduces IT complexity, allows analysts to continue working with their preferred Google plug-ins and enables users to manage data projects within a familiar infrastructure.
Open Data: Analytics Views (Pilot)
Analytics Views for Open Data, available in pilot, offer predefined datasets that simplify external reporting across popular business intelligence platforms like SAP Analytics Cloud and Tableau. Email Campaign performance data is now available with additional datasets to follow.
API for Batch Sales Data Loads (Pilot)
The new API for Batch Sales Data Loads enables easy onboarding of large and complex sales datasets, including offline sales data. This pilot API is designed for enterprises needing high-volume data loads without using CSV files.
Engagement Events Service (Pilot)
We’ve introduced an Engagement Events API and user interface , enabling self-serve integration of events captured by external systems into Emarsys for segmentation, personalization, and analytics. Additional developments will allow users manage API connections and monitor activity to spot and troubleshoot issues. If you’re interested in piloting this feature, reach out to join.
Enterprise-Grade and Cloud-Scale Performance
Scaling campaigns requires enterprise-grade software that can adapt in the ways you need it to, including collaborative tools, enhanced admin and security features and cloud-based capabilities that grow with you and your business.
Notification Center: Security Notification Type
In our ongoing commitment to security, we’ve added a new notification type in the Notification Center for security related alerts, such as when a user is promoted to an Account Owner role. These alerts are mandatory, without an opt-out option, ensuring that account owners are promptly informed of critical changes.
API Authentication with OAuth 2.0
We’ve also enhanced API security, making it easier to apply the OpenID Connect OAuth 2.0 protocol for state-of-the-art protections and control. Now, choosing this industry standard authentication protocol means you’ll always be able to connect your technology systems and set up secure API connections in a matter of minutes with a self-serve interface.
Asset Tagging (Early Adopter)
Our Asset Tagging framework now supports Omnichannel Content Blocks, allowing you to create customized tags, then categorize and filter content assets by region, campaign, or other criteria. This early access feature optimizes asset search, reduces redundancy and streamlines use of content across campaigns.
Reusable Content Blocks in Visual Content Editor
Our Reusable Content Blocks are now available for all users, making it simple to save and reuse your favorite or best performing content blocks across email campaigns. This saves you time, ensures brand alignment and accelerates your time to value when launching campaigns.
Custom Field Distribution Enhancements
We’ve enhanced our previously released Custom Field Distribution capability to include distribution for single- and multi-choice field types, with support for field translations and JSON settings. This simplifies account setup and content customization for businesses operating across multiple regions or brands with separate Emarsys accounts.
