Being the US's Independence Day, it gets a lot of attention every year along with special holiday sales.
This year the promotions started last Friday and I've seen some extended into Wednesday. A nice long 6-day cycle that captures both the weekend and a few weekdays.
What will be interesting is evaluating how the promotions performed. In particular:
- how many new customers bought vs repeat customers?
- is the Average Order Values higher than typical?
- which sales channels drove sales?
Using the cohort reports from Repeat Customer Insights will start to show that data in the diagonal almost right away, especially with the percentage view.
