With global shipping now easier than ever, more stores are expanding internationally to reach new audiences and grow sales. As Shopify steps up its support for global expansion, this trend shows no signs of slowing down.
Building trust is key to getting shoppers to buy online. In our experience, the best way to do this is by sharing genuine reviews from real, happy customers. But when you’re selling internationally, language barriers can make reviews seem less genuine, which can hurt trust and impact conversions.
Now, you can seamlessly display translated reviews based on the language in which your store is displayed to shoppers. With just a few clicks, you can break the language barrier, build trust, and increase conversions–no matter where you’re shipping.
Here’s everything you need to know
How many languages are supported?
We currently support review translation into 21 languages.
Will translating reviews impact my store speed?
Like all other Loox widgets and features, auto-translated reviews are optimized for conversion and have zero impact on store speed.
How do I set it up?
If your store already supports multiple languages, just log in to your Loox admin, turn on Multilingual support to display translated Loox widgets and emails, and then enable auto-translated reviews. Done!

Auto-translated reviews are available on the Product Reviews Widget, Happy Customers Page, Reviews Sidebar Widget, and Carousel Widgets.
How much does this cost?
Auto-translated reviews are included in Scale and Unlimited plans or similar with limitless translations.
How can I be sure translations are accurate?
We use industry-best-in-class translation models to ensure the highest accuracy level possible. Translated reviews include a visual indication giving your shoppers the option to view the review in its original language if they want.
