As most people are aware, podcasts are a growing medium for information and entertainment. In 2019, there were 88 million podcast listeners in the U.S. That number is expected to cross the 100 million mark this year.
Here at Omnisend, our customers learn about digital marketing and ways to grow their business through blog posts, webinars, reports, and other forms of content. But hey, we’re all about the omnichannel experience—so it only made sense we add a podcast to the mix.
Starting next week, we’ll be launching our first season of the Cart Insiders Podcast. The Cart insiders Podcast is an extension of a series of community-oriented activities that we’re bringing to you, including Cart Insiders Stories, and the Cart Insiders Conference.
When it comes to the podcast, here’s a bit more about what to expect.
The Download: About The Cart Insiders Podcast
On the podcast, I’ll be speaking with a wide spectrum of voices in the D2C world, featuring insights and analysis into all aspects of ecommerce—including marketing tactics, changing consumer behavior, social media, what the future of commerce holds for D2C brands and more.
In season 1, we’ll be featuring CEOs, founders, and marketing executives from companies such as Rhone, Love Cocoa, To-ak Chocolate, Jiggy Puzzles, New Air Appliances, Dixxon Flannel, and Newton Baby. Expect candid and insightful conversations as they talk about the challenges of growing a business, lessons learned, the role marketing has played in their growth, and its continued evolution.
Each guest will share their unique perspective on different aspects of their business including managing growth through the COVID pandemic, how they get things done with limited time and resources, ways they use marketing channels to connect with their customers, and the resources they use to expand their knowledge.
Regardless of your role or company size, every conversation will have something for you.
About the Host
As for the host, let me very briefly introduce myself. My name is Greg Zakowicz, and I’m a veteran marketer and the Director of Content here at Omnisend. As a marketer and former consultant, I have worked with over 130 companies around the world on helping them maximize their ecommerce and email marketing programs. I can often be found speaking about email marketing at industry events, and you can find some of my ecommerce insights across a variety of online industry outlets.
Only now, I’ll be the one asking the questions!
