By Tinuiti Team

Tinuiti Live 2025, “The New Marketing Imperative: Growth vs. Waste,” held on May 14 and 15 was the agency’s annual sold-out tentpole event in New York, featuring speakers from brands including eos, Etsy, Liquid I.V., OLLY, Once Upon a Farm, Poppi—as well as Maria Taylor, host of NBC Sports’ Football Night in America and Big Ten College Countdown, and Futurist David “Shingy” Shing—taking the stage in front of over 300 marketers, its biggest crowd yet.

Tinuiti announced a powerful new go-to-market message live on stage: Love Growth. Hate Waste. The Tinuiti Live agenda guided two days of programming designed to cut through industry complexity with brutal simplicity—uniting what brands care about most with what fuels Tinuiti’s passion. You can read the full announcement here.

Missed it? No problem. We’ve compiled the key takeaways below — plus, you now have access to on-demand sessions addressing how to get your brand to Love Growth. Hate Waste.

1. Growth doesn’t show up — you have to design for it.

Growth isn’t a happy accident. It’s a series of smart, gutsy choices. The best marketers aren’t reactive — they’re deliberate, disciplined, and demand results.

Try this: Look at your plan. What’s generating motion, not momentum? Cut it. Then reinvest in what’s built to scale — not just survive.

2. Waste is hiding in plain sight — go find it.

Every marketing org has waste — misfiring media, stale assumptions, dashboards nobody reads. It’s not just inefficient — it’s stealing from your best ideas.

Try this: Pick one area of your marketing and ask, “What are we still doing just because we always have?” That’s your first cut. Be ruthless.

3. The best brands don’t play the game — they change it.

Incrementalism is safe. It’s also forgettable. The brands rewriting their categories aren’t just optimizing media — they’re reframing what winning looks like.

Try this: Challenge one norm in your category. Be the first to say what others won’t. Take a bet others are too nervous to make — and back it up with results.

Day 1: The Tinuiti Live Prequel — Your Front-Row Seat to the Next Era of TV

Tinuiti Live kicked off with an exclusive, invite-only half-day event focused on the seismic shift in streaming. As cord-cutting accelerates, CTV has become the centerpiece of modern marketing — this half-day experience tackled how brands can do more than keep up, they can lead the way. Experts from Paramount Advertising, NBCUniversal, and Tinuiti’s TV, Audio, and Display teams unpacked the future of full-funnel performance, data, and measurement. Speakers included NBC News’ Savannah Sellers and E! News correspondent Erin Lim Rhodes, both sharing insights on how streaming is shaping media and culture.

Day 2: Tinuiti Live 2025.

Day Two brought the energy with a powerhouse main stage lineup designed to challenge assumptions and ignite bold thinking. From David Shing’s provocative take on AI as a tool for Artful Interactions to Poppi’s breakout growth story—proving performance doesn’t have to come with overspend— sessions delivered inspiration backed by action.

Experts unpacked the evolving role of YouTube as a true social platform, while brand leaders shared how they’re navigating retail media, creative automation, and full-funnel performance in a fragmented landscape. Throughout the day, one theme was clear: marketing’s future belongs to those who Love Growth. Hate Waste.—and know how to deliver both.
