Wrapping Up The 3rd Quarter Of A Meh Year

wrapping-up-the-3rd-quarter-of-a-meh-year

Today marks the end of the 3rd quarter.

How did your Shopify store do?

I’ve been hearing a lot of talk from stores and businesses that 2022 has been meh.

Not as much of a shock as 2021 was (or even 2020) but sales and any sort of recovery has been taking forever to materialize. The difficulty comes from comparing how 2020 performed (big growth for ecommerce) to 2021 (reverting back to 2019) and weak economies overall.

Obliviously every store and industry have different performance but overall meh seems to be a good description.

If your store has a regular holiday cycle, there’s still all of Q4 to turn around the year. It might not be a record-setting year but if done right, you could close out the year on a high note. Aim for Q4 to meet or beat 2021’s Q4 and if you can, get 2022 to beat 2021.

In Repeat Customer Insights, now is a great time to compare and start tracking your Q3 and Q4 performances. This is especially easy with the metric graphs I’ve added of the main metrics (AOV, RPR, LTV, etc).

It comes with a 14-day free trial so you can see how it works and get some ideas right away.
