When you’re launching your web embed or modal with product recommendations, you probably want to know what your visitors will see. Because recommendations widely differ from one product to another, it’s not always easy to preview all the products that may be featured among the recommendations. Until now, you had to test your web modal or embed on different product pages or submit an API request. However, with our latest feature, Product Directory, that’s about to change.
Product Directory provides you with a view of your product feed coming into Zaius, creating never-before-seen transparency into your product data. This view exposes your product recommendations and additional data science-driven insights Zaius offers on your products, like views per day and average views before purchase.
Now, if you want to know what products your visitors will see in your web embeds and modal, you can simply head over to the Product Directory, under the Products tab, and see them for yourself. If you used a Product Filter in your web modal or embed settings, you can apply a filter from the sidebar to validate your filter. This way, you can check to make sure that your Content Shield and Product Filters are not narrowing down your list of recommended products too much and are doing what you expected.
