AI Visibility Tools 2026: 83 GEO And AEO Platforms And The Superpower Behind Each

Published:
September 24, 2026

More than 80 AI visibility tools now track how brands appear in ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude. Merchants under $2M should start with free Google, Bing and GA4 reports; mid-market platforms like Peec AI and AthenaHQ, and enterprise suites like Profound, earn their cost above that.

Quick Decision Framework

  • Who This Is For: Shopify and DTC merchants from roughly $500K to $50M-plus, the marketers running their AI search work, and agencies choosing AI visibility software for clients.
  • Skip If: You are pre-launch or under $500K and haven’t switched on the free Google Search Console, Bing and GA4 reports yet; our GEO pillar is the better starting point.
  • Key Benefit: A shortlist of two or three AI visibility tools matched to your stage and budget, drawn from 83 verified options, in about 20 minutes.
  • What You’ll Need: Your annual revenue, a monthly tool budget, your main sales channels (Shopify only, or Amazon and retail too) and 20 questions a real buyer would ask an AI assistant.
  • Time to Complete: 20 minutes to skim the grid and your stage section, 90 minutes to read in full, and two weeks to trial two shortlisted tools.

A dashboard is not a strategy. Most of these 83 tools tell you whether ChatGPT mentions your store; the stores that win still do it with better product data, more reviews and more pages that other people write about them.

What You’ll Learn

  • Which of the nine AI visibility tool categories fits your revenue stage, from free first-party reports to custom enterprise contracts
  • How to get Google, Bing and GA4 AI visibility data for free before spending anything on software
  • Which tools track your products, not just your brand, inside ChatGPT, Google AI Mode and Alexa for Shopping answers
  • What each of 83 tools does better than its peers, with September 2026 pricing for side-by-side comparison
  • When to move from a sub-$50 tracker to a mid-market or enterprise platform, and what to skip at each stage

In May 2026, shoppers who reached US retail sites from an AI assistant converted 54% better than everyone else, according to Adobe’s retail data. In August, Shopify told investors that AI-referred orders had tripled year over year. And a software category that barely existed two years ago now has a $1.8 billion company at the top and more than 80 products competing beneath it.

This guide solves that problem. When I wrote our generative engine optimization pillar last month, the short version of the measurement advice was that most stores under $2M don’t need an AI visibility dashboard yet. That still holds. But once you pass that line, or once you run an agency, the question stops being whether to buy a tool and becomes which of 83 to trust. Most roundups answer it with the ten or twelve vendors that publish the most articles about themselves. This one maps the whole field.

It is written for Shopify and DTC merchants from about $500K to $50M-plus, the marketers inside those brands, and the agencies that serve them. The 83 tools are grouped into nine categories, moving from free first-party reports through budget trackers, Shopify apps, suites, content platforms, mid-market platforms, commerce specialists, and enterprise contracts; within each category, they are listed alphabetically. Nothing here is ranked, and no vendor paid for placement. Every entry covers the same four things: what the tool is, its superpower, who it fits, and what it costs as of September 2026.

What Changed In AI Visibility Tools In 2026

The AI visibility market consolidated and professionalized in 2026: Adobe bought Semrush, Sitecore bought Scrunch, Tracksuit bought Hall, Searchable bought Meridian, and both Gartner and Forrester published their first formal reports on the category. Money followed. Profound raised twice in seven months, Bluefish raised $43 million, Brandlight $30 million and Peec AI crossed $10 million in annual recurring revenue.

The shopping side moved just as fast. OpenAI retired ChatGPT Instant Checkout in March, so AI shopping answers now send buyers to the merchant’s own site. Shopify switched on Agentic Storefronts for eligible merchants on March 24, syndicating catalogs to ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini and Google AI Mode at no cost. Amazon replaced Rufus with Alexa for Shopping in May. Google, Bing and GA4 all shipped free AI reporting. And ChatGPT ads reached 31 European markets with self-serve buying by August 31, which is why a growing number of trackers now monitor sponsored placements alongside organic answers.

For buyers, the practical consequence is pricing churn. Profound dropped its self-serve plans in mid-September, Gauge retired its entry tier, Hall moved new signups to a waitlist after joining Tracksuit, and Spotlight renamed itself Rocketblue, all within the past few months. Treat any AI visibility price older than 90 days as a guess, including ours once the calendar turns.

How These 83 AI Visibility Tools Were Chosen

Every tool here met four criteria: it tracks or improves how a brand or product appears in at least one major AI answer engine, it was on sale in September 2026, its product and pricing could be verified on a live vendor page or app listing, and it is usable by Shopify merchants or the agencies serving them. We checked each vendor’s pages on September 24, 2026, cross-referenced funding and acquisition news, and loaded every Shopify App Store listing directly. Considered and excluded: Relixir, whose founders have moved to a new company; Hall, now part of Tracksuit; Meridian, merged into Searchable; Daydream, an agency rather than software; Wix’s AI Visibility Overview, which serves Wix stores only; and Rankshift and AIRank, whose current pricing we could not confirm. Where a price comes from third-party listings, the entry says so. Triple Whale is a current eCommerce Fastlane podcast sponsor, and we use several listed tools in our own work; none paid for inclusion.

Free Measurement, Attribution And Agent Analytics

Start with measurement, because Google, Bing, and GA4 now give away first-party AI visibility data that most paid tools can only estimate by sampling prompts. Every store on this page, at every revenue stage, should turn on these three reports before spending a dollar on software. Our generative engine optimization pillar walks through how to measure AI visibility without buying another dashboard, and the tools below are the building blocks of that approach. The last three entries add crawler analytics, controlled testing, and order-level attribution for teams ready to go one level deeper.

Bing Webmaster Tools AI Performance

Bing Webmaster Tools AI Performance is Microsoft’s free report showing how often your pages are cited in Copilot and Bing AI summaries, and which queries triggered those citations.

Superpower: It is the only first-party report from an AI engine that shows citation counts alongside the grounding queries behind them, URL by URL. Bing opened the report in public preview in February 2026, and for a Shopify merchant it is the fastest way to see which collection pages and blog posts Copilot is actually quoting.

Best fit: Every store at every stage; verifying a Shopify domain in Bing Webmaster Tools takes about ten minutes. Pricing: Free as of September 2026. Look elsewhere if: You need ChatGPT or Google data, since Bing’s AI Performance report covers the Microsoft ecosystem and does not show clicks yet.

Google Analytics 4 AI Assistant Channel

The Google Analytics 4 AI Assistant channel is a default channel group, added on May 13, 2026, that automatically groups sessions referred by ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, Copilot and other assistants.

Superpower: It turns AI referral tracking from a regex project into a default setting. Every Shopify store with GA4 connected now sees AI-referred sessions, conversion rate and revenue beside paid social and email, in reports the team already reads. That matters because Adobe’s retail data found AI-referred visitors converted 54% better than other traffic in May 2026, so the GA4 AI Assistant channel is the number to watch.

Best fit: Any merchant with GA4 installed, before buying tracking software. Our guide to tracking AI-referred traffic in Shopify covers the setup. Pricing: Free as of September 2026. Look elsewhere if: You want visibility itself; GA4 counts the visitors who clicked through, not the answers where you were mentioned.

Google Search Console Generative AI Reports

Google Search Console‘s generative AI performance reports show impressions of your pages inside AI Overviews, AI Mode and Discover AI features, and finished rolling out worldwide on August 31, 2026.

Superpower: Nobody else has Google’s own AI Overviews and AI Mode impression counts. Third-party tools estimate visibility by sampling prompts; Search Console counts what actually rendered, broken down by page, country, device and date. For stores that live on Google organic traffic, this is the first report to open each month.

Best fit: Every Shopify store verified in Search Console, which should be all of them. Pricing: Free as of September 2026. Look elsewhere if: You need clicks or query-level detail; the Search Console AI reports show impressions only for now, with data starting May 18, 2026.

Known Agents

Known Agents, formerly Dark Visitors, is an agent analytics platform that shows which AI crawlers, assistants and shopping agents visit your site, alongside AI chat referrals.

Superpower: Known Agents maintains one of the most complete public databases of AI agents and bots on the web and turns it into analytics, automatic robots.txt updates and an MCP connection. It answers the question most visibility trackers skip: is GPTBot or an AI shopping agent actually reading your product pages, and how often?

Best fit: Technical merchants, headless builds and agencies. Pricing: As of September 2026, free for one project and 100,000 events a month, Startup at $29 a month and Growth at $299 a month. Look elsewhere if: You run standard hosted Shopify without your own Cloudflare proxy, because Known Agents connects to Shopify through a merchant-controlled Cloudflare layer.

SEOTesting.com

SEOTesting.com is a Search Console and analytics testing platform that finds the pages already earning AI chatbot traffic and measures whether your changes increase it.

Superpower: Controlled testing. Most AI visibility tools observe; SEOTesting.com lets you run a before and after test on a page and see whether AI-referred visits moved. It also surfaces conversational prompt clues from your Search Console queries, a smart and inexpensive way to find the long questions buyers actually ask.

Best fit: In-house SEOs who want proof a change worked before rolling it across the catalog. Pricing: Single Site at $50 a month as of September 2026, with a 14-day trial and no card required. Look elsewhere if: You want to know what ChatGPT says about you, because SEOTesting.com does not run prompts.

Triple Whale

Triple Whale is a Shopify-native analytics and attribution platform whose Discovery workspace adds AI visibility tracking beside order-level attribution for LLM-referred sales.

Superpower: It connects AI mentions to orders in one dashboard. Triple Whale reports that its merchants saw 424,262 LLM-referred orders in Q4 2025, up from 7,152 across all of 2024, and ChatGPT visibility tracking is included on its Free plan. For a Shopify brand already using Triple Whale for attribution, that is AI visibility without another login.

Best fit: Shopify DTC brands from roughly $1M upward that want attribution first and visibility second. Pricing: As of September 2026, a Free plan, with Foundation at $219 a month on the Shopify App Store listing. Look elsewhere if: You need deep prompt or SKU-level diagnostics; pair Triple Whale with a dedicated tracker when AI becomes a major channel.

Budget And Lightweight AI Visibility Trackers

Budget AI visibility trackers cost roughly $15 to $100 a month as of September 2026 and suit merchants who want an automated weekly or daily read on 20 to 50 buyer prompts without a sales call. If you are between $500K and $2M, treat one of these as a replacement for the manual monthly prompt test, not as a strategy in itself. Their shared strength is speed: most start with a free trial, need no card and return a first report within a day. Where they differ is engine coverage, refresh frequency and agency features, which is what each superpower below highlights.

Am I On AI

Am I On AI is an AI visibility tool that runs your audience’s prompts through ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews and returns citations with a personalized action plan.

Superpower: Audience segmentation. Am I On AI’s Prism tier splits results across up to five audience segments, so a brand selling to both gift buyers and enthusiasts sees how AI answers differ for each. The product leans toward recommendations over raw data, which suits teams that want to know what to do next.

Best fit: DTC brands with clearly different buyer personas. Pricing: As of September 2026, Pro is $100 a month for 150 prompts and Prism is $349 a month, with a 7-day trial. Look elsewhere if: Perplexity, Gemini or Claude matter to your category, since Am I On AI covers ChatGPT and AI Overviews.

BrandBeacon

BrandBeacon is a lightweight tracker that monitors brand mentions, citations and competitive positioning in ChatGPT and Perplexity.

Superpower: A free daily report. BrandBeacon’s free tier tracks up to five prompts every day, enough to keep a steady pulse on your most important buyer questions before committing budget to anything heavier.

Best fit: Founders who want a free daily check on their top questions. Pricing: Free for five prompts a day as of September 2026; BrandBeacon does not publish paid plan prices. Look elsewhere if: You need Google AI Overviews or AI Mode, which BrandBeacon does not cover yet.

Geoptie

Geoptie is a GEO platform that tracks brand visibility across your choice of four AI engines in 123 markets and bundles a large set of free audit and content tools.

Superpower: Its free toolset. Geoptie gives away a GEO audit, AI rank tracker, content checker and visibility checker, and its paid plans add white-label reporting and API access at prices a one-person agency can absorb.

Best fit: Freelancers and small agencies that need white-label AI reports cheaply. Pricing: As of September 2026, Starter is $41 a month billed annually for 15 prompts, and Professional is $83 a month with white label and API. Look elsewhere if: You want every engine at once, because Geoptie caps each brand at four.

Knowatoa

Knowatoa is an AI search visibility tool with an AI Search Console view and checks on how easily AI systems can read and index your site.

Superpower: It plays well with reporting stacks. Knowatoa’s Growth plan includes API, MCP, Looker Studio and NinjaCat integrations, plus sentiment alerts and AI indexability checks, so agencies can drop AI visibility into the client reports they already send.

Best fit: Small agencies and lean in-house teams reporting through Looker Studio. Pricing: As of September 2026, Starter is $59 a month and Growth is $199 a month, both with free trials. Look elsewhere if: You need product-level shopping data, which Knowatoa does not track.

LLM Pulse

LLM Pulse is a European AI visibility tracker covering ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Mode and AI Overviews, with add-on models available.

Superpower: Google’s AI surfaces at an entry price. LLM Pulse includes AI Mode and AI Overviews on its starter plan, and its Scale tier tracks ChatGPT shopping results and AI paid ads, a combination that usually costs far more elsewhere. Partner plans add white label on your own domain.

Best fit: Budget-conscious teams and EU agencies. Pricing: As of September 2026, Starter is €49 a month for 50 prompts and Scale is €299 a month with shopping and ads tracking; the 14-day trial requires a card. Look elsewhere if: You won’t enter a card for a trial of LLM Pulse.

LLMrefs

LLMrefs is a keyword-based AI visibility tracker that reports brand mentions, citations and share of voice across 11 AI engines.

Superpower: Coverage per dollar. LLMrefs sells one flat plan with 500 prompts across ChatGPT, AI Overviews, AI Mode, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, Grok, Copilot, Meta AI and more, in 50-plus countries, with API access and unlimited seats. For a small team, that is the widest net in the category at this price.

Best fit: Budget teams and agencies that value breadth over daily refresh. Pricing: $79 a month all-in as of September 2026, with a 7-day trial and no card. Look elsewhere if: You need daily data, since LLMrefs reports weekly.

Mangools AI Search Watcher

Mangools AI Search Watcher is a prompt monitoring tool from the Mangools SEO team that tracks your prompts across eight language models and compares you with competitors.

Superpower: Price per prompt. Mangools AI Search Watcher offers 500 prompts for about €15.60 a month billed annually, runs each prompt several times for accuracy and keeps a free plan with five prompts. Nothing else we found matched that ratio.

Best fit: Budget merchants and freelancers who want volume. Pricing: As of September 2026, a free plan with five weekly prompts, and Pro at €24 a month or €15.60 billed annually. Look elsewhere if: Perplexity or Copilot matter to you; Mangools covers ChatGPT, AI Overviews, AI Mode, Gemini, Claude, Grok, Mistral and Llama.

Mentionable

Mentionable is a European AI visibility tracker covering seven engines on every plan, with an agency tier built for client reporting.

Superpower: Agency value. Mentionable’s Agency plan includes unlimited client projects and white-label reports for €299 a month, and all seven engines come standard rather than as paid add-ons.

Best fit: Small agencies running AI visibility reporting for several clients. Pricing: As of September 2026, Growth is €79 a month for 115 prompts and Agency is €299 a month, with a 7-day trial and no card. Look elsewhere if: You need product or shopping tracking, which Mentionable does not advertise.

Otterly.AI

Otterly.AI is an affordable AI search monitoring tool from Austria that tracks prompts across ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Copilot, with Gemini, AI Mode and Claude available as add-ons.

Superpower: The lowest-friction paid starting point. Otterly.AI begins at $29 a month with unlimited team members, covers 65-plus countries, includes a GEO content audit and Looker Studio connector, and now flags when your brand or products appear in ChatGPT ads and shopping cards.

Best fit: Small Shopify brands and freelancers testing AI tracking, and agencies needing inexpensive multi-client monitoring. Pricing: As of September 2026, Lite is $29 a month for 15 prompts, Standard $189 for 100 and Premium $489 for 400. Look elsewhere if: You need Gemini and AI Mode without Otterly’s add-on costs.

Promptmonitor

Promptmonitor is a budget tracker that monitors brand mentions and citations across six to eight AI models.

Superpower: Daily multi-engine tracking for under $40. Promptmonitor’s Growth plan refreshes 50 prompts daily across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, Grok and Perplexity for $39 a month, and its Agency plan is free to use when pitching new clients.

Best fit: Solo operators and micro-agencies. Pricing: As of September 2026, Starter is $29, Growth $39 and Pro $129 a month, shown as discounts from list, with a 7-day trial and no card. Look elsewhere if: You need optimization guidance or shopping data from Promptmonitor’s tier of tools.

Rankscale

Rankscale is a credit-based AI rank tracker from Vienna with broad engine coverage, page audits, and shopping and ad analytics.

Superpower: Engine breadth for the money. Rankscale covers ten named engines plus more on a pay-per-answer credit model, and its $99 Pro plan already includes shopping analysis and ad analytics, with white-label dashboards from the Growth tier.

Best fit: Data-minded SEOs and agencies that want many engines under $400 a month. Pricing: As of September 2026, Essentials is $20, Pro $99 for 1,200 credits and Growth $385 with white label, with a 7-day trial on Pro. Look elsewhere if: Credit-based billing frustrates you, since Rankscale meters by answer.

ZipTie

ZipTie is a usage-priced AI search tracker covering ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, AI Mode, Perplexity, Copilot and Gemini.

Superpower: You pay for exactly what you track. ZipTie prices per prompt per engine with unlimited seats and projects, so a brand tracking a handful of prompts on two engines pays very differently from one tracking hundreds across seven.

Best fit: Teams that want flexible, usage-based costs. Pricing: As of September 2026, Starter is from $42.75 a month with up to 20% off annually, and a 7-day trial needs no card. Look elsewhere if: You prefer flat, predictable billing over ZipTie’s usage model.

Shopify App Store AI Visibility Apps

Shopify App Store apps are the quickest way to get AI visibility work running inside Shopify admin, and most of them launched in 2026, so few have more than 20 reviews yet. They fall into two camps: trackers that run buyer prompts against your catalog, and llms.txt generators that publish a machine-readable map of your store and control which AI crawlers can reach it. On llms.txt, our position is set out in the GEO pillar: Google has called it unnecessary, so treat those apps as cheap crawler hygiene rather than a visibility strategy. Also note that Shopify’s Agentic Storefronts, live since March 24, 2026, already syndicate eligible catalogs to ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini and Google AI Mode at no cost.

40: ChatGPT, Claude & AEO Rank

40: ChatGPT, Claude & AEO Rank is a Shopify app from 40rty that scans your catalog for the data gaps that stop AI agents recommending your products, then rewrites listings to close them.

Superpower: It works on the catalog, not a dashboard. The 40 app identifies priority buyer prompts, rewrites product listings to answer them and tracks your rank on those prompts, positioning itself around Shopify’s Agentic Storefronts. The 40 app held a 5.0 rating across 17 reviews in September 2026, a strong base for this young category.

Best fit: Shopify brands with large catalogs and thin product data. Pricing: As of September 2026, Small is $49 a month, rising to Autopilot at $799, with annual discounts. Look elsewhere if: You want monitoring only, without 40 changing your listings.

AI Ranking: AEO, AI Visibility

AI Ranking: AEO, AI Visibility is a low-cost Shopify app from Gavi Ventures that tracks visibility on ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity and reports AI-referred traffic and conversions from GA4.

Superpower: Visibility tracking plus GA4-based AI traffic reporting for under $25 a month. AI Ranking also handles llms.txt and JSON-LD, making it a compact starter kit for a single store.

Best fit: Small stores that want one inexpensive app. Pricing: As of September 2026, Pro is $9.99 a month and Premium $24.99, with a 3-day trial. Look elsewhere if: You need Google AI surfaces or a longer review history; AI Ranking had two reviews at press time.

Arc: llms.txt

Arc: llms.txt is a Shopify app from ArcSpeed that generates a one-click llms.txt file, sometimes called an AI sitemap, covering products, collections, blogs and pages.

Superpower: Simplicity with a real review base. Arc held a 4.5 rating from 80 reviews in September 2026, and its free plan syncs weekly; Arc Pro adds daily sync, FAQs and multilingual output.

Best fit: Merchants who want llms.txt handled in five minutes at little or no cost. Pricing: Free, with Pro at $9 a month or $99 a year as of September 2026. Look elsewhere if: You need visibility tracking; Arc is a file generator, not a tracker.

Avada AEO Optimizer LLMs.txt

Avada AEO Optimizer LLMs.txt is a free Shopify app that generates and hosts an llms.txt file with live stock data and per-bot access controls.

Superpower: Crawler control at no cost, with the deepest review base in this category. Avada lets you allow or block GPTBot, ClaudeBot, Gemini, Perplexity and DeepSeek individually and schedules refreshes, and the Avada app carried a 5.0 rating from 394 reviews in September 2026.

Best fit: Any Shopify merchant who wants per-bot access control without paying. Pricing: Free as of September 2026. Look elsewhere if: You want measurement; Avada manages crawler access and does not report visibility.

BrandEcho: GEO & AI Tracking

SEO And Marketing Suites With AI Visibility Built In

If you already pay for an SEO or marketing suite, check its AI visibility module before buying anything new, because Semrush, Ahrefs, SE Ranking, Moz, HubSpot and a dozen others now include one. The advantage is context: AI mentions sit next to the keyword, backlink and content data your team already trusts, and there is no new vendor to onboard. The trade is usually prompt volume and engine coverage, which tends to be lighter than a dedicated tracker at the same price. These entries suit teams where consolidation beats specialization.

Ahrefs Brand Radar

Ahrefs Brand Radar is the AI visibility layer inside Ahrefs, built on a database of more than 450 million prompts drawn from real search queries.

Superpower: Instant competitive research without setup. Because Ahrefs Brand Radar pre-indexes hundreds of millions of prompts across AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Copilot, you can type in any competitor and see their AI mentions, share of voice and most-cited pages immediately. That makes Brand Radar a PR and affiliate outreach engine as much as a tracker.

Best fit: Brands and agencies already on Ahrefs. Pricing: As of September 2026, paid Ahrefs plans from $129 a month include a handful of custom prompts, and the full Brand Radar AI add-on is $199 a month; a free Ahrefs AI visibility checker needs no signup. Look elsewhere if: You don’t want a full SEO suite.

HubSpot AEO

HubSpot AEO is HubSpot’s standalone answer engine optimization tracker, built on its acquisition of XFunnel, covering ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity.

Superpower: The cheapest credible tracker from a major vendor, with a free on-ramp. HubSpot AEO costs $50 a month, needs no HubSpot subscription, is included in Marketing Hub Pro and Enterprise, and sits behind HubSpot’s free AI Search Grader, which scores your brand in under two minutes with no account.

Best fit: HubSpot CRM users and small brands that want a first baseline. Pricing: As of September 2026, $50 a month or $45 billed annually for 25 prompts, with a free trial and no card. Look elsewhere if: You need Google AI Overviews or AI Mode, which HubSpot AEO does not track.

Keyword.com

Keyword.com is an established rank tracker that added credit-based AI visibility tracking across nine engines, sold alone or alongside Google rankings.

Superpower: AI visibility next to classic rank tracking for the price of a coffee. Keyword.com starts at $7.83 a month billed annually, covers ChatGPT, AI Overviews, AI Mode, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, Claude, Mistral and DeepSeek, and delivers it in white-label client dashboards.

Best fit: Agencies and freelancers already reporting rankings to clients. Pricing: AI Visibility from $7.83 a month billed annually as of September 2026, with a 14-day trial and no card. Look elsewhere if: You want optimization advice, since Keyword.com focuses on measurement.

Moz Pro AI Visibility

Moz Pro‘s AI Visibility dashboard, launched in May 2026, tracks when ChatGPT and Gemini mention your brand, where you appear in the answer and how you compare with competitors.

Superpower: Familiarity. Moz Pro AI Visibility sits beside Domain Authority and the keyword tools many marketing teams have used for a decade, so there is nothing new to learn and no new vendor to approve.

Best fit: Existing Moz Pro subscribers on Medium plans and above. Pricing: Included from the Medium plan, reported at about $179 a month by third-party listings as of September 2026. Look elsewhere if: You need Perplexity or AI Overviews coverage beyond Moz’s two engines.

Best fit: Agencies that want one tool for rankings and AI answers. Pricing: As of September 2026, Starter is €79 a month with 50 AI prompts, with a 14-day trial and no card. Look elsewhere if: You don’t need the classic rank tracking at the core of Nightwatch.

Rank Math AI Visibility

Rank Math AI Visibility tracks custom prompts in ChatGPT and Gemini and rolls rankings, citations, mentions and sentiment into a single AI Visibility Score.

Superpower: Price. Rank Math AI Visibility starts under €5 a month, doesn’t require Rank Math PRO and shows full response transcripts, so you can read exactly what the model said.

Best fit: WordPress publishers, WooCommerce stores and Shopify brands that run a WordPress content site. Pricing: As of September 2026, Starter is €4.99 a month billed annually on a promotional rate, with a 30-day money-back guarantee. Look elsewhere if: You need more than the two engines Rank Math covers today.

Best fit: SEO agencies adding AI reporting to existing retainers. Pricing: Rankability listed plans from $99 a month in May 2026; as of September 2026 pricing runs through a demo. Look elsewhere if: You are a single brand that only needs AI tracking, not Rankability’s full SEO suite.

SE Ranking (SE Visible)

SE Ranking offers AI visibility two ways: an AI Search add-on inside its SEO suite, and SE Visible, a standalone AI visibility workspace.

Superpower: Prompt volume per dollar from a mature SEO vendor. SE Ranking’s add-on includes 200 SE Visible prompts across AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT and Perplexity, next to the rank tracking and audits the suite is known for.

Best fit: SMBs and agencies that want SEO plus AI tracking for around $200 a month all-in. Pricing: As of September 2026, the AI Search add-on is $89 a month on top of Core at $129, and SE Visible standalone is reported from $99 a month. Look elsewhere if: You need Claude, Copilot or Grok from SE Ranking’s add-on.

Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit

The Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit shows how often ChatGPT, Google AI and Perplexity mention and cite your brand against competitors, from the Semrush team now owned by Adobe.

Superpower: The most complete mix of AI visibility and classic SEO in one login: prompt research, an AI readiness site audit and competitor share of voice beside the keyword data most merchants already use. Adobe closed its roughly $1.9 billion Semrush acquisition on April 28, 2026, and the Semrush brand and pricing continue.

Best fit: Shopify brands and agencies already paying for Semrush. Pricing: As of September 2026, $99 a month per domain billed annually with 25 daily prompts and a 7-day trial; Semrush One bundles start at $165 a month billed annually. Look elsewhere if: You don’t need an SEO suite around your AI tracking.

Best fit: Small brands that want inexpensive narrative and sentiment monitoring. Pricing: As of September 2026, free for 10 checks a month, with Pro at $39 a month on promotion. Look elsewhere if: You need prompt-level share of voice at volume from Serpstat’s monitor.

Superpower: Competitive AI traffic data without installing anything. Similarweb shows ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, Perplexity and DeepSeek referral traffic for rival sites and benchmarks up to 30 competitors per topic. Its State of Ecommerce 2026 report found AI-recommended brands carry roughly a 2:1 purchase likelihood advantage.

Best fit: Growth-stage DTC brands, analysts and agencies. Pricing: As of September 2026, AEO Intelligence is $99 a month for 150 prompts, with a free trial and no card. Look elsewhere if: You need prescriptive optimization rather than Similarweb’s market intelligence.

Ubersuggest

Ubersuggest, from Neil Patel Digital, added AI Search Visibility in September 2026, checking how ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude mention your brand across a small set of prompts.

Superpower: Lifetime pricing. Ubersuggest remains one of the only SEO suites you can buy once, and AI visibility checks now come with it.

Best fit: Solo merchants who prefer a one-time purchase. Pricing: As of September 2026, Individual runs $29 a month or $290 lifetime per third-party listings, with a 7-day trial. Look elsewhere if: You need more than 10 to 20 prompts or frequent refresh from Ubersuggest.

Yoast AI Brand Insights

Yoast AI Brand Insights delivers a weekly analysis of how ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity describe your brand, with sentiment, citations and competitor benchmarks.

Superpower: It rides along with the SEO plugin millions of WordPress sites already run. Yoast AI Brand Insights comes in the Yoast SEO AI+ bundle, which also includes Yoast SEO Premium and WooCommerce SEO.

Best fit: WordPress and WooCommerce stores. Pricing: Yoast SEO AI+ is $358.80 a year per brand as of September 2026. Look elsewhere if: You run Shopify without a WordPress site, since the Yoast bundle’s value sits in its WordPress plugins.

AI Visibility Plus Content Execution

These platforms pair AI visibility tracking with content production, which suits teams whose bottleneck is shipping pages rather than finding gaps. As of September 2026 they range from $49 blogging suites to content engineering platforms used by Ramp and Klaviyo. One caution from our GEO pillar applies here: rewriting content purely for AI rarely beats improving the product data and third-party coverage AI actually draws on, so use these tools to fill genuine content gaps, not to churn out volume.

AirOps

AirOps is a content engineering platform that tracks AI search visibility and then creates and refreshes content at scale to earn citations.

Superpower: Turning gaps into workflows. AirOps converts visibility gaps into repeatable content grids and refresh cycles, counts Ramp, Webflow, Kayak and Klaviyo among its customers, and raised a $40 million Series B led by Greylock in November 2025.

Best fit: Content-heavy DTC brands with a dedicated content operations person. Pricing: As of September 2026, a free Insights tier and a 14-day trial, with Solo, Pro and Enterprise plans billed on tasks and priced through sales. Look elsewhere if: You want a simple tracker with a public price instead of AirOps’ production system.

Amadora AI

Amadora AI is an agency-oriented GEO platform that finds why competitors win AI answers, then drafts content, on-page fixes and outreach for your approval.

Superpower: It does the work. Amadora AI publishes approved content to WordPress and Webflow, queues on-page changes and ships pre-built outreach lists of review sites, directories and media, with white-label audits and monthly proof reports.

Pricing: As of September 2026, Starter is $59, Professional $179 with unlimited brands and Agency $499 with white label and API, with a 3-day trial and no card. Fokal

Fokal is an AI and Google visibility tracker with a built-in writer that publishes articles straight to Shopify blogs.

Superpower: A free-forever plan that includes both tracking and one article a week, with automatic publishing to Shopify, which makes Fokal one of the easiest ways to start.

Best fit: Early-stage Shopify stores. Pricing: As of September 2026, a free plan, Starter at $49 and Pro at $99 a month. Look elsewhere if: You need Gemini or Claude tracking; Fokal covers ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews.

Mentionova

Mentionova is an agentic AEO platform whose agents track citations, then draft content briefs, bulk content and Reddit replies to close the gaps.

Superpower: It treats Reddit as an engine. Mentionova tracks Reddit alongside ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini and AI Overviews and includes a Reddit engagement module, useful because community threads feed so many AI answers in consumer categories.

Best fit: Lean DTC teams that want execution help, not only dashboards. Pricing: As of September 2026, Starter is $99 a month billed annually for 25 prompts and Scale is $320. Look elsewhere if: You only want inexpensive tracking rather than Mentionova’s agents.

RightBlogger

RightBlogger is an AI blogging and SEO suite whose LLM Brand Monitor asks ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude your prompts on a schedule.

Writesonic

Writesonic is an AI visibility tracker and content suite, now positioned as an AI Search Growth Engine, that includes an AI Shopping Tracker.

Best fit: Small DTC brands that want tracking and content creation together. Pricing: As of September 2026, Starter is $79 a month billed annually for 50 prompts and 15 articles. Look elsewhere if: You need Perplexity or Claude tracking below Writesonic’s Enterprise plan.

Mid-Market AI Visibility Platforms

Mid-market AI visibility platforms cost roughly $100 to $600 a month as of September 2026 and add the depth budget trackers skip: daily data across eight or more engines, shopping analytics, agency tooling and content agents. This is the most crowded and fastest-moving tier in the category. Peec AI passed $10 million in annual recurring revenue by May 2026, Searchable bought a rival within five months of its seed round, and several tools changed plans or names during our research. For a Shopify brand past $2M, this is usually where the first real software budget belongs.

Pricing: As of September 2026, third-party listings put Peec AI plans at about $95, $245 and $495 a month, with shopping on the top self-serve tier, a 7-day trial and unlimited seats. Ecommerce And AI Shopping Specialists

These tools start from products instead of prompts, which matters because AI shopping answers are decided at the SKU level: which product appears, at what price and with which retailer link. Two shifts from 2026 shape this group. OpenAI retired ChatGPT Instant Checkout in March, so purchases now complete on the merchant’s own site, and Amazon replaced Rufus with Alexa for Shopping in May. Our agentic commerce guide covers what that means strategically; the tools below measure and improve how your catalog shows up.

Alhena AI Visibility

Alhena AI Visibility comes from Alhena, the Shopify shopping and support AI agent, and tracks SKU-level visibility in AI shopping answers with revenue attribution by engine.

Superpower: A live Shopify catalog sync plus revenue attribution by AI engine, from a team already working inside brands like Victoria Beckham, Tatcha and Paula’s Choice. Alhena covers ChatGPT Shopping, AI Overviews, Perplexity and Gemini.

Best fit: Shopify beauty, fashion and lifestyle brands. Pricing: As of September 2026, a free audit, Essentials at $199 a month billed annually for 25 questions and Growth at $499. Look elsewhere if: You need large prompt volume from Alhena’s entry tier.

Feedonomics, part of Commerce.com (formerly BigCommerce), is a full-service feed platform whose Agentic Catalog Exports syndicate optimized catalogs to ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Perplexity, PayPal, Stripe and Amazon.

Superpower: Every agentic destination, managed for you. Feedonomics handled Dell’s syndication of roughly 7,000 SKUs to ChatGPT, and its team manages enrichment and compliance rather than handing you a template.

Best fit: Enterprise and multi-platform catalogs, often 100,000 SKUs or more. Pricing: Not published as of September 2026. Look elsewhere if: You run a single Shopify store; Agentic Storefronts already covers ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini and AI Mode without Feedonomics.

Glara

Glara is a product-first AI visibility tool that tracks your top-selling products rather than prompts, with Shopify catalog import.

Superpower: It starts from SKUs. Glara ties product visibility in ChatGPT and Gemini to Google Analytics, Search Console and Shopify revenue, so the report reads like a merchandising view rather than an SEO one.

Best fit: Shopify brands whose revenue concentrates in a set of hero products. Pricing: As of September 2026, Starter is $120 a month billed annually for 20 products and Advanced is $345. Look elsewhere if: You need Perplexity or Claude below Glara’s Enterprise tier.

Goodie

Goodie is a New York AEO platform, spun out of growth agency NoGood, with an agentic commerce suite for SKU-level shopping visibility.

Best fit: Omnichannel brands from about $5M selling on Shopify, Amazon and Walmart. Pricing: As of September 2026, Core is $399 a month and Pro, with SKU-level commerce, is $999, with a 7-day trial. Look elsewhere if: Your budget is under $400 a month, Goodie’s starting point.

Productsup

Productsup is a Berlin feed management platform whose AI Enrich and agentic commerce features syndicate products to ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Copilot and monitor how they appear.

Best fit: Mid-market and enterprise retailers managing many channels. Pricing: Demo only as of September 2026. Look elsewhere if: You are an SMB Shopify store that Productsup’s enterprise model would overserve.

Stackline AI Visibility

Stackline AI Visibility measures real shopper questions and product recommendation share across ChatGPT, Amazon’s Alexa for Shopping, Gemini and other AI commerce surfaces.

Superpower: Real demand data. Stackline tracks millions of real shopping questions daily rather than sampling synthetic prompts, and ties them to its Amazon and retail sales data for brands like Sony, Unilever and Dyson.

Best fit: CPG and consumer brands with major Amazon and big-box distribution. Pricing: Demo only as of September 2026. Look elsewhere if: You are DTC-first on Shopify with little marketplace presence for Stackline to measure.

Enterprise SEO Platforms With AI Search Layers

Enterprise SEO platforms have folded AI visibility into contracts many large teams already hold, which makes them the default starting point for brands already running one. Their strength is scale and integration: crawler logs across millions of URLs, AI visibility inside existing workflows and governance, and in several cases a direct path to fixing what they find. Forrester’s August 2026 landscape argues the category will be won on proprietary data, cross-team orchestration and tying visibility to revenue, and these vendors are built around the middle one.

Botify

Botify is an enterprise technical SEO platform repositioned for agentic AI search, making large sites crawlable and readable by AI agents and pushing fixes automatically.

Superpower: Crawler analytics at massive scale plus AgenticCatalog, which enriches product feeds for OpenAI and Google’s Universal Commerce Protocol. Botify counts Farfetch, Etsy, Crocs and Macy’s among its retail customers.

Best fit: Retailers and marketplaces with 100,000 to millions of URLs. Pricing: Custom as of September 2026. Look elsewhere if: You have a few hundred SKUs on Shopify, where the crawl problems Botify solves rarely exist.

BrightEdge

Best fit: Multi-location retailers, restaurants and franchises. Pricing: Bundled into Yext solutions, with a free scan, as of September 2026. Look elsewhere if: You sell online only, where Yext Scout’s local layer adds little.

Enterprise AI Visibility Platforms

Enterprise AI visibility platforms are sales-led, custom-priced contracts built for brands with a dedicated owner for AI search and the budget to act on what they find. This is where the category’s money sits: Profound reached a $1.8 billion valuation in September 2026, Sitecore bought Scrunch, and Gartner published its first Market Guide for Answer Engine Visibility Tools in March 2026. The common thread is a move from tracking to doing, with AI advertising, agent-facing site layers and content agents now standard at this tier.

Adobe Brand Visibility

Adobe Brand Visibility, renamed from Adobe LLM Optimizer on July 31, 2026, measures how a brand appears in AI answers and pushes content and technical fixes to the site at the CDN edge.

Superpower: Execution plus attribution. Adobe Brand Visibility deploys optimizations at the edge through Fastly, Akamai or Cloudflare with instant rollback, ties results into Adobe Analytics, and now draws on Semrush prompt data following Adobe’s acquisition.

Best fit: Enterprises running Adobe Experience Cloud. Pricing: Custom as of September 2026. Look elsewhere if: You are a Shopify brand outside the Adobe stack.

Bluefish

Bluefish is a New York agentic marketing platform that monitors, optimizes and measures how Fortune 500 brands appear across AI search and AI shopping assistants.

Superpower: Enterprise brand safety plus retail assistant coverage, including Amazon’s Alexa for Shopping alongside ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity. Bluefish raised a $43 million Series B in April 2026 and counts Adidas, American Express, LVMH and Ulta Beauty as customers.

Best fit: Fortune 500 and global consumer brands. Pricing: Custom as of September 2026. Look elsewhere if: You are an SMB or mid-market brand, below the scale Bluefish is built for.

Brandlight

Brandlight is an enterprise platform for monitoring and influencing how brands and products appear in AI answers, now extended into AI-native ads and agentic commerce.

Superpower: Portfolio governance. Brandlight offers an Enterprise HQ view across brands and regions, a Partnerships module showing which publishers drive your AI visibility and an Ads module; Kimberly-Clark, Estée Lauder and LG are customers, and Brandlight raised a $30 million Series A in February 2026.

Best fit: Multi-brand CPG companies and holding-company agencies. Pricing: Custom as of September 2026. Look elsewhere if: You run a single DTC brand.

Evertune

Evertune is a New York GEO platform, founded by early members of The Trade Desk team, that measures AI brand perception statistically, generates content and runs AI advertising.

Superpower: Statistical rigor plus paid AI media. Evertune samples each prompt many times per model, tracks up to 100,000 prompts across 11 models on its Pro plan, follows ChatGPT shopping cards at product level, and is furthest along on AI ads with a ChatGPT ad agent and AI retargeting. HexClad and Canada Goose are Evertune customers.

Best fit: Mid-market and enterprise consumer brands and agencies. Pricing: Pro is $800 a month as of September 2026. Look elsewhere if: You want a small tracker for a few dozen prompts.

geoSurge

geoSurge is a London AI visibility company built on corpus engineering, the idea of shaping how models learn and represent a brand over time.

Superpower: A long-horizon thesis. geoSurge focuses on durable representation inside models rather than weekly citation counts, and raised a $12 million seed led by AlbionVC in July 2026.

Best fit: Enterprise and venture-backed brands in financial services, education and hospitality. Pricing: Not published as of September 2026. Look elsewhere if: You need a self-serve tracker rather than geoSurge’s model-level approach.

iQrush

iQrush is a Seattle AI visibility measurement and answer engine testing platform named in Gartner’s 2026 Market Guide.

Superpower: Answer engine testing with predictive insights across ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity, plus a strategic partnership with Amazon agency Netrush that gives iQrush marketplace depth.

Best fit: Consumer brands with strong Amazon businesses. Pricing: Not published as of September 2026. Look elsewhere if: You want self-serve pricing, which iQrush does not publish.

Meltwater GenAI Lens

Meltwater GenAI Lens is a PR-oriented LLM brand monitoring add-on covering ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, AI Overviews, DeepSeek, Llama and Grok.

Superpower: Source attribution for communications teams. GenAI Lens traces AI answers back to the media coverage, Reddit threads, Wikipedia pages and press releases that shaped them, inside the Meltwater platform PR teams already use.

Best fit: Global PR teams already on Meltwater. Pricing: Via sales as of September 2026. Look elsewhere if: You don’t run a PR program for Meltwater to plug into.

Profound

Profound is the category’s most valuable company, tracking brand, citation and product visibility across answer engines for more than 1,000 enterprise brands.

Superpower: Breadth and depth in one platform: Prompt Volumes demand data, Agent Analytics from server logs (now reaching Shopify stores through a Nostra edge proxy partnership), SKU-level ChatGPT Shopping tracking, content agents and Ads Studio. Profound raised a $180 million Series D at a $1.8 billion valuation on September 15, 2026.

Best fit: Enterprise and upper mid-market teams with a dedicated AEO owner. Pricing: As of September 2026, a free 7-day trial, then custom Enterprise contracts; Profound retired its self-serve brand plans in September. Look elsewhere if: You want a low monthly self-serve price.

Scrunch

Scrunch, acquired by Sitecore in June 2026, monitors brand presence across AI engines and serves AI agents a clean, machine-readable version of your site through its Agent Experience Platform.

Superpower: AXP, the most developed agent experience layer in the market. Scrunch detects AI agents at the CDN edge and hands them structured content while humans see the normal site; Skims and Lenovo are customers.

Best fit: Upper mid-market and enterprise brands with CDN control, including headless builds. Pricing: As of September 2026, Starter is $250 a month billed annually and Growth $417, with a 7-day trial. Look elsewhere if: You run standard hosted Shopify and want AXP, since Shopify isn’t a listed Scrunch deployment target.

Siteimprove

Siteimprove is an agentic content intelligence platform combining accessibility, SEO, AEO and analytics, and a representative vendor in Gartner’s 2026 Market Guide.

Superpower: Share of answer measurement across ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity inside a platform large organizations already use for accessibility and content quality, so Siteimprove folds AI visibility into web governance.

Best fit: Enterprise and public-sector content teams. Pricing: Custom as of September 2026. Look elsewhere if: You are a DTC brand without a web governance program for Siteimprove to anchor.

Which AI Visibility Tool Fits Your Stage

The right AI visibility tool depends far more on your revenue stage and sales channels than on any feature list, and for most stores under $2M the right answer is still free. From pre-launch to $500K, skip paid monitoring entirely. Complete your product data, switch on Agentic Storefronts, verify in Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools, and watch the GA4 AI Assistant channel. If you want control over which AI crawlers reach the store, Avada’s free Shopify app handles it.

Between $500K and $2M, I have watched hundreds of merchants make the same mistake: adding tools and channels before the fundamentals are solid. Run twenty real buyer questions through ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity once a month and log what comes back. If you would rather automate that test, keep it under $50 a month; Otterly.AI Lite, Mangools AI Search Watcher, TrackGPT and HubSpot AEO all do the job. If you already pay for Semrush, Ahrefs or SE Ranking, check their AI module first.

From $2M to $10M, one mid-market platform with shopping data earns its keep. Peec AI and AthenaHQ import Shopify catalogs today and Searchable has it on the roadmap; Glara and Alhena start from products instead of prompts; Triple Whale connects visibility to orders if you already use it for attribution. If you also sell heavily on Amazon or Walmart, Goodie’s shopping coverage is the widest we found.

Above $10M, the enterprise tier is built for you. Profound and Evertune lead on data depth and AI media, Scrunch on agent-facing site layers, Semrush Enterprise AIO and Adobe Brand Visibility if you already live in those ecosystems, Bluefish and Stackline when Amazon and retail matter more than DTC, and Yext Scout if you run physical locations. Agencies should look first at Trakkr, Mentionable, Geoptie, Rankscale, Keyword.com and Amadora AI, which are built around multi-client economics and white label.

One honest trade-off applies at every tier: most shopping data today measures ChatGPT first, and every prompt-sampled number moves from run to run. Read trends rather than single scores, and pick the tool whose report someone on your team will actually act on each week.

Choosing An AI Visibility Tool Without Overbuying

No single AI visibility tool is best for every Shopify merchant, which is why this list is unranked. The 83 tools above all earn their place; the right choice depends on your revenue stage, whether you sell beyond Shopify, how many prompts or products you need to watch, and whether anyone on the team has time to act on the findings.

Apply the eighteen-month test before you sign anything: will the thing this tool measures still matter in 2028? Citation share on a dozen hand-picked prompts probably won’t. Whether AI assistants recommend your products accurately, at the right price, with a link to your own store, almost certainly will. If you are still deciding, start with the stage section above. If you want the strategy behind the tools, our GEO pillar covers how AI answers source recommendations, and our agentic commerce guide covers where AI shopping is heading. Prices in this category change monthly, so confirm on the vendor page before you buy.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best AI visibility tool for a Shopify store?

No single AI visibility tool fits every Shopify store; the right one depends on revenue stage and sales channels. Under $2M, free reports from Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, and the GA4 AI Assistant channel cover most needs, with an optional sub-$50 tracker such as Otterly.AI or TrackGPT. From $2M to $10M, platforms with Shopify catalog support such as Peec AI, AthenaHQ and Glara add SKU-level shopping data. Above $10M, enterprise platforms like Profound, Evertune and Scrunch add prompt demand data, AI advertising and agent-facing site layers. The stage section above maps each band in detail.

How much do AI visibility tools cost in 2026?

AI visibility tools range from free to custom annual enterprise contracts as of September 2026. Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools and GA4 reports are free, as are several Shopify apps such as Avada AEO Optimizer. Budget trackers including Otterly.AI, Mangools AI Search Watcher and LLMrefs cost roughly $15 to $100 a month. Mid-market platforms like Searchable, Peec AI and Trakkr run about $100 to $600 a month, and shopping analytics usually sits on their upper tiers. Enterprise platforms including Profound, Bluefish and Adobe Brand Visibility are custom-priced. Compare prompt allowances, not just prices: $29 can buy 15 prompts while $79 can buy 500.

What is the difference between Profound and Peec AI?

Profound is an enterprise AI visibility platform sold on custom contracts, while Peec AI is a self-serve mid-market platform with published plans. As of September 2026, Profound offers a free trial followed by Enterprise pricing only, and adds Prompt Volumes demand data, Agent Analytics from server logs, content agents and AI ad tools for teams with a dedicated AEO owner. Peec AI starts at roughly $95 a month per third-party listing, imports Shopify catalogs for SKU-level AI Shopping Analytics on its upper tier, and offers separate agency plans. Both focus their shopping data on ChatGPT today. Choose Profound for enterprise depth and services, and Peec AI for speed, price and catalog import.

Which AI visibility tools track products in ChatGPT shopping results?

As of September 2026, more than a dozen AI visibility tools track products in ChatGPT shopping results. Profound, Evertune, and Semrush Enterprise AIO do it at enterprise scale; Peec AI, Goodie, Promptwatch, Searchable, Writesonic, Rankscale, and LLM Pulse offer it on mid-market or budget plans; and Shopify-focused tools such as Alhena, Glara, ShelfSight, and Visibly AI track product recommendations straight from your catalog. Goodie covers the widest set of shopping surfaces, adding Alexa for Shopping, Perplexity Shopping, Google AI Mode Shopping, and Walmart’s Sparky. Check which plan tier includes shopping, because most vendors reserve it for their upper tiers.

Can I track AI visibility for free?

Yes, you can track meaningful AI visibility for free in 2026. Google Search Console reports impressions in AI Overviews and AI Mode, Bing Webmaster Tools shows Copilot citations with the queries behind them, and the GA4 AI Assistant channel counts visitors and revenue from ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Claude. For prompt tracking, free plans from Mangools AI Search Watcher, BrandBeacon, Serpstat, BrandEcho and Citewise cover a handful of prompts, and HubSpot, Semrush and Ahrefs offer free one-off checkers. Add a monthly manual test of twenty buyer questions and most stores under $2M have everything they need.

When should I upgrade from free AI visibility checks to a paid platform?

Upgrade to a paid AI visibility platform when you pass roughly $2M in revenue, when AI referrals show up as a meaningful channel in GA4, or when someone on your team has time to act on the findings every week. Before that point, a paid dashboard usually reports problems nobody fixes. The practical sequence is free first-party reports, then a manual or sub-$50 automated monthly prompt test, then a mid-market platform with shopping data such as Peec AI, AthenaHQ or Searchable, and only then an enterprise contract. Agencies are the exception, because multi-client tools like Trakkr or Mentionable pay for themselves once reporting is billable.
